Founder, Timea Eva Nagy, a survivor of Sex Trafficking was forced to close her safe house back in 2015 due to a lack of funding.
Timea’s passion, however, could not be shut down. She then decided to start a social enterprise that would generate income for various victim care initiatives in Canada and the United States.
As a result of her efforts, Timea’s Market was developed with a help of a Canadian survivor and as a branch under Timea’s Cause.
When we have large orders we call upon our small team of survivors between the ages of
18-27 to help us out.
The more orders we get, the more production hours we can give our girls.
We are hoping to turn this into a full-time employment place for girls across Ontario and Canada in the very near future.
