Wellness Kits for Survivors and Frontline Workers
Aromatherapy is effective for managing trauma, releasing anxiety, and reducing stress because it directly impacts the brain's emotional centre—the limbic system—through the olfactory pathway, stimulating a rapid physiological and psychological relaxation response. When essential oils are inhaled, odour molecules travel from the nose to the olfactory bulb and directly affect the amygdala (which processes emotional responses) and the hippocampus (which processes memory), triggering a shift from a "fight or flight" state to "rest and digest."
Our handmade, natural organic kits are made in Muskoka, Ontario, with survivors, volunteers, and retired service providers. Various packages are designed. Custom packages are also available upon request.
Designed for survivors, people affected by trauma, and frontline workers for self-care and wellness.
